The ANZ Product Manager – SMB is a member of the product team which provides
Lenovo with the business insights required to successfully drive to our
business objectives. In this role you will work closely with the SMB Product
Head, Sales teams and distributors to ensure we are achieving our sales
targets. Your focus will be to analyse sales trends and stock levels, work
with internal sales teams and distributors to build a sustainable and
profitable product portfolio.
Key Objectives of Position:
• Analysis and reporting on historical sales trends, identifying shifts in
market demand and adjusting sales projections
• Develop, align, and track quarterly product sales plans together with
internal stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with Authorised Distributors to align on sales
projections
• Own end-to-end product lifecycle management, from product launch to phase
out and inventory clearance
• Monitor distributor aged inventory and develop sales plans with distributors
to ensure key metrics are achieved
• Ensure key sell through targets are achieved by effective management of
Lenovo sales promotions in market
• Presentation to internal and external sales and management on new product
announcements, sales plans and activities (4P’s)
• Co-ordinate distribution of monthly pricebook to Lenovo Authorised Partners
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
• Analysis of historical sales, revenue and profitability and manage quarterly
product planning template
• Alignment with SMB Product Lead & Distribution Manager product planning
process
• Ongoing communication and alignment with Lenovo Authorised Distributors on
stock & supply status, sales plans and gaps to target
• Presentation on product planning and financial simulations to SMB finance
• Pipeline Analysis to identify supply risk to Lenovo Authorised partners
• Regular analysis of distributor aged stock, identification on aged inventory
and development of sales plans to deplete inventory levels
• Analysis of market promotions to drive product sales by way of influencing
sales promotions in market
• Alignment of sales promotions with SMB Product Lead to ensure the right
return on investment
• Managed new product introductions by way of conducting feasibility studies
on market together with our distributors and authorized partners
• Drive accurate forecasting of materials together with supply team to ensure
little no excess inventory
• Ensure Lenovo product offering is competitively priced to market to drive
market share

• Must be a team player
• 3+ years IT product management experience (Essential)
• Product marketing experience (Essential)
• Advanced Excel understanding. Ability to create and edit macros of VBA
scripting preferred
• Bachelor Degree
