Lenovo seeks, ANZ Channel & SMB Leader for our Data Center Group to focus on
developing and growing our existing valued channel partners and increasing
Lenovo mindshare through our strong technology portfolio. The successful
incumbent will be responsible for the overall DCG SMB, Distribution and
Channel Sales Strategy and Execution. The incumbent will contribute to the ANZ
Senior Leadership Team strategy and vision for the Data Center Group.
This position will report directly into the General Manager of Lenovo Data
Center Group for ANZ.
Job Description:
•You will own the overall strategic relationships for the channels managing
our valued partners & personally drive the engagement & relationships with our
top accounts
•You will grow the SMB & Mid-Market portfolio through the execution of a
growth plans, channel programs and a robust channel strategy
•Own and drive the performance of Lenovo value channel – through initiation
and execution of channel strategy (RAD)
•Responsible for management of external Mid-Market team in Australia
•Strategic ownership of Managed Service Provider segment team
•Ownership of ANZ Distribution Business
•Regular joint business reviews with partners and internal stakeholders
•Weekly sales meetings with team to ensure accurate and predictable pipeline
management
•Engage (own the relationship) with key focus partners that are instrumental
to Lenovo success
•Create and jointly execute business plans for top key partners
•Provides accurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts &
QBR
•Drive partners for lead generation activities and manage maximum utilization
of MDF and ROI
•Understand overall partner landscape & provide Market intelligence
•Develop an overall plan to over-achieve quota.
•Work closely with our direct sales teams to facilitate opportunity alignment
and joint selling between channel partners and direct sales team.
#### Position Requirements:
•10 years’ experience in the IT industry or vertical market
•5 years’ experience in Channel Sales Management & Alliances / Partner
Management
•Advanced level prospecting and qualification experience
•Proven experience in leading in a matrix Organization
•Strong operational and analytical skills
•Self-Starter with the ability to perform in a high-pressure environment
•Track record of achievement of quota and sales management
•Strong understanding of Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions and software
•Strong sales including needs analysis, business justification, and closing
methodologies
•Negotiating skills and ability to influence
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to understand customer's industry and core business processes
•Strong needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills
•Effective sales, marketing, and project management skills
•Ability to thrive and work in a team environment
Education/ other requirements:
•University degree/bachelor’s degree
•Fluent English (verbal & written)
•Willing to take on business travel
