Job Description
Eaton’s Corporative division is currently seeking a AP Banking accountant to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro office. The AP Banking accountant is responsible for perform the Bank Payments for Vendors, Taxes and Payroll for OU 0335, OU 0334, OU 0358, OU 0233, OU 0146, OU 0148, OU 0149, OU 0123, OU 4083, OU 4260, OU 4099, OU 4158, OU 9065, OU 9066. Some activities related with the position will be: Perform Bank Disbursements to Vendors in timely manner according schedule. Reconcile Payments against Bank Statement on daily basis in order to ensure they were successful. Provide evidence of Bank Disbursements to the Local teams. Attend Column Case ensuring to solve all the cases within 48 hours. Check and provide follow up for EFT and Wire returns. Perform RSD reports. Perform BSR ( Balance sheet Reviews / Account Reconciliations). Analyzes invoice problems, determines root cause and recommends solutions. Coordinates problem resolutions between the Banks, SSC and Operations. Prepares metric analysis and reporting. Addresses escalated payments issues and leads activities to resolve vendor payments concerns. Participates in continuous improvements and project work to drive functional excellence. Completes payment process special handling requests. Develops and documents new processes and improvements. Functions well in a team environment. #LI-SL4 Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor degree in accounting or finance related 1 - 2 years in a similar position Accounts payable Data processing in financial systems, preferable Oracle and SAP. English language Accounting and banking portals. Preferred Qualifications: Communication Ability to operate and deliver independently without day to day supervision Flexibility to work outside standard hours to accommodate teams working in around the globe.
