We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced High School AP Calculus/Statistics Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of advanced mathematical concepts in students, preparing them for success in Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus and Statistics programs, as well as for higher education and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging, rigorous, and accessible lessons for AP Calculus and AP Statistics courses.

Develop students’ conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and ability to apply mathematics to real-world scenarios.

Prepare students for the AP exams through effective instructional strategies, practice, and review.

Foster a supportive and challenging classroom environment that encourages inquiry, logical reasoning, and collaborative problem-solving.

Assess and provide timely, constructive feedback on student work to support growth and mastery of subject matter.

Stay updated with AP curriculum frameworks, exam formats, and best practices in mathematics education.

Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school-wide academic initiatives.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student progress and school goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in AP Calculus and/or AP Statistics, preferably in a bilingual or international school setting.

Deep understanding of AP Calculus and Statistics curriculum, exam structure, and scoring guidelines.

Strong proficiency in mathematical software and technology tools relevant to teaching (e.g., graphing calculators, statistical software, interactive platforms).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and inspire high school students.

Cultural sensitivity and adaptability in a diverse educational environment.

Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
