JOB FUNCTION – REQUIREMENTS

• Assist AP PS Program Manager to Establish, Implement and Manage Chemical Notification Process to complete all Requests
• Maintain database of chemical notification and regularly report the chemical notification status via the chemical notification tracking sheet and the executive summary
• Communicate notification status/strategy/plan/process/requirements with stakeholders in each China PSLT meeting and AP PSLT meeting.
• Perform the quarterly analysis about the chemical notification and share it with the relevant stakeholders to improve the work efficiency.
• Coordinate China annual reporting in time; Prepare and submit dossiers for China new chemical notifications based on request;
• Coordinate Japan chemical nomination based on request with support from consultants
• Coordinate Philippines chemical nomination based on request with support from consultants
• Coordinate Taiwan chemical nomination based on request with support from consultants
• Improve Taiwan Phase 1 Registration Process by working together with the team
• Taiwan Phase 2 Registrations
• Support Vietnam chemical inventory based on request
• CoE work for Chemical Notification - maintain those guidelines for each registration type

• Assist AP PS program to conduct Hazard Communication and GPS System Related Support
• Support SAP S4 project as needed
• Support GHS/SDS/label related issues/questions/requests by working together with the global team
• Support implementation of product SDS automatically distribution to customers in AP
• Support global raw material management team based on request
• Support BPI projects of customer response
• Communicate status/requirements of Hazard Communication and GPS related support project with the stakeholders in each China PSLT meeting and AP PSLT meeting.

• Assist AP PS program manager to manage PSIT-8 (Contract Manufacturing, Repacking and Warehouse) and PSIT-3 (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) implementation in AP
• Update the AP list of contract manufacturing/ Repackaging/Warehouse and develop the plan for the existing vendors to comply with PPG requirements
• Support SBUs to implement PSIT-8 review for new projects /vendors and existing vendors which contract will be renewed
• Support all sites/SBUs to implement the PSIT-3 process and support the problem solving as needed
• Quarterly track the implementation status of PSIT-8/PSIT-3 in AP and maintain the effective communication with all relevant stakeholders, take the needed actions if necessary

• Assist AP PS Program Manager to manage the Product Safety/Compliance Related Support
• Review emerging issues on the SharePoint and take actions as a Subject Matter Expert and conduct advocacy as needed, such as “China REACH”
• Manage the TDG Level 1 emergency response contract.
• Participate and support the AP PSLT meeting; Participate the China PSLT meeting
• Support AP PS Newsletter/PS Strategy/PS Scorecard/PS Huddle

Requires: Bachelor’s degree or above in chemistry, environment science or equivalent; fluency in Chinese, fluency in English, at least five years’ experience in Product Safety/Product Stewardship in multinational chemical companies. Good knowledge of chemical regulation in AP countries, especially chemical notification; Good knowledge of coating industry. Strong project management skills. Strong communication and presentation skills.
