Position Description: Position Title : AP Services Solution Architect Team Manager \- Location: Singapore or Hong Kong \- Functional Area: Services \- Relocation Provided: No \- People Manager : Yes \- Travel Required from Time to Time. Key Responsibilities: Manage a team of services solution architects across AP countries. Develop a high-performance team to support Lenovo’s service led transformation. Practice Areas : Full Lenovo service portfolio, including Lifecycle Services, Modern Workspace, Managed Services, Device-as-a-Service and Incubation Services. Performance Metrics : \- Solution Architect Team Productivity Metrics \- Solutioning Accuracy of SOW and Solutioning Output from Solution Architect Team Key Responsibilities: Team Management \- Develop a high-performance solution architect team \- Hire, on-board and develop solution architects \- Assignment and tracking of solution architect workloads and priorities \- People manager role and responsibilities Team Competency \- Develop, track and execute technical competency benchmark and upgrade framework for solution architect team \- Ensure team is constantly upskilled to keep abreast of new service offerings and portfolio rollouts (worldwide, in geography and incubation) \- Enable team to maintain understanding of current and emerging technology, trends and toolsets in the industry. Team Processes and Resources \- Develop and execute engagement and support process for opportunity pursuit \- Develop structured resource repository for solutioning and SOW creation \- Constantly review and improve solutioning standards / tools for Service Solution Architect for existing or newly-added solution and services. Quality Assurance \- Value-add to Solution Architects in their line of work. Provide guidance to team of Service Solution Architects across AP to build quality solutions and costing models \- Enforce solutioning release gates for statement of work and solution costing models \- Set and propagate standards for discovery questionnaires, white-boarding sessions and other scoping techniques. Cross-Functional Alignment \- Align to business priorities of AP Services Sales and Marketing team \- Bridge to delivery, front-end and extended teams Portfolio Management \- Contribute strategic insight to build up Lenovo Managed Services practice areas including capabilities roadmap #### Position Requirements: \- Recognized university degree (Advanced degree preferred but not mandatory) \- Microsoft and other recognized technical certifications \- ITIL and other project management certifications \- 15+ years experience in complex solutioning in an IT service business environment with proven results. \- 5+ years of people management experience, preferably in a similar capacity \- Strong understanding of sales and delivery organizations from a previous position in similar capacity, with the ability to bridge and drive cross- function collaboration. \- Excellent team leadership skills and experience and the ability to make pragmatic decisions \- Executive presence. Confident, articulate and professional in both oral and written communication and presentation in addressing all levels of audiences including C-levels. \- Possesses commercial awareness of local and regional competitive market in AP region, including direct and indirect competition from OEMs, business partners and solution providers \- Deep knowledge and passion to advocate and solution in practice areas (including workflows, resourcing models, infrastructure, toolsets and software) \- Deep knowledge and passion for emerging technology and service trends.
