Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (valid teacher certification required if you
do not have a degree in your subject area).
• Native English speaker preferred; Chinese teachers with a high level of English
proficiency are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience teaching AP Physics, AP Chemistry, or AP Biology.
• High moral standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• 18-24 teaching hours per week + 6-12 office hours per week = 30 total working hours
per week. This includes lesson planning, grading, weekly staff meetings, clubs, and
attending international department and MVI events.
• Class hours are -
Monday – Thursday: 7:45am – 12:05pm, 2:30pm – 4:55pm -
Friday: 7:20am – 10:30am
• Become proficient with AP Classroom and FACTS (student management software,
formally known as RenWeb). Professional development will be provided.
