Responsibilities:

  • Lead Controllership and Finance Operations Initiatives within APAC including main entities in China, Japan, Korea and India etc.

  • Consolidate APAC monthly closing results and review to ensure compliance to US GAAP and on-time reporting

  • Review APAC level ME, QUE, YES report in the region

  • Drive Monthly Balance Sheet Review in the region and improve quality

  • Lead SOX initiative in the region to align with global requirement.

  • Coordinate with external auditor for statutory reporting and internal audit for corporate audit in APAC

  • Manage BPO Genpact for outsourced finance operations to continuously improve efficiency.

  • Build up business flow and accounting discipline for breakthrough business implementation

  • Coordinate with tax and treasury functions in the region to execute related initiative in APAC

  • Support M&A financial analysis and due diligence in the region

  • Support other finance related projects if needed.


    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. CPA is required. MBA is preferred.

  • APAC level finance management experiences is preferred.

  • 15+ years of finance related experiences working in multi-national company, auto industry preferred

  • Experience in controllership and finance operation is required.

  • Strong business partnering and team building and motivation skills.

  • Self-motivated and results oriented.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both English and Chinese.

  • Demonstrated leadership, business acumen and strong strategic thinking

  • Ability to drive and execute major change initiatives.

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions impacting multiple functions.

  • Committed and hard-work. Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under high pressures
