The individual will partner with the Global Learning &Development Team and the Human Capital Lead of APAC in designing and delivery of learning solutions to ensure alignment with the strategic business objectives of the organisation. The L&D consultant will be responsible for L&D activities in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.

Responsibilities
As the Learning & Development lead, your role and responsibility will include, but will not be limited, to the following:
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees/leadership, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, and clients. Analyse and evaluate information and data from a variety of sources; draw conclusions; make recommendations and support the implementation cycle for these recommendations.
- Design, plan and organize new hire orientation, training calendars and training programs for employees through in-person and virtual mediums.
- Own the delivery of large programs: Employee Onboarding, Milestone Schools, Consultants Development
- Engage the business to understand business needs and gaps in regional Training Curriculum
- Work with Global team to communicate, develop and deploy programs that meet regional demand
- Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.
- Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as in-person or virtual to optimize training effectiveness and training costs
- Evaluate training materials prepared by instructors, for content and engagement activities.
- Keep up with developments in area of expertise by reading current journals, books, or magazine articles.
- Provide input and collaborate across the business to support other special projects or initiatives
- Serve as an internal facilitator for general education, functional, policy/procedure, system, customer service, compliance, sales, skill assessments and development
- Attend and/or facilitate meetings as needed to understand how to support the objectives of the various business lines
- Coordinate or perform administrative functions necessary to deliver and document learning and development programs.
- Communications to wider business –, advising the wider business of upcoming training sessions (availability) through email communication
- Generate reports for the business/management on learning data as and when requested
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must be self-motivated, be able to problem solve complex situations, and be resourceful
- A strong influencer in leading and navigating complex and ever-changing business structure
- Financial Service and/or consulting Industry experience preferred but not required
- Ability to develop and deliver training content in a live, classroom-based environment.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain credibility as a knowledge resource
- Ease at establishing rapport, initiating conversations, and remembering names
- Ability to follow through on a project from beginning to end
- Willingness and ability to follow instructions, work within a team, and work independently
