Role Summary:
Role Summary:
The APAC Regional Real Estate Portfolio Manager will be responsible for all phases of strategic real estate planning and transactions including, but not limited to, implementing or updating real estate policies and procedures, developing a long-term vision to maximize BHGE real estate assets, and to ensure consistent process for real estate transactions globally. Responsible for leading BHGE regional properties portfolio supporting the respective regional teams and the product companies from optimizing the portfolio through property opportunity identification to deal consummation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with business, functional, and regional teams to develop strategic portfolio plans and supporting business cases to optimize real estate assets
  • Own the tracking and negotiation of lease agreements globally through our 3rd party supplier, working closely with BHGE regional and product companies’ leadership to ensure safe, strategically located, and competitively priced locations for all BHGE operations
  • Review project plans for the properties strategy including lease renewals, co-locations, expansions and dispositions
  • Team closely with the global project manager leader and global facilities leader to ensure flawless project execution
  • Effectively track and communicate teams' progress with business leadership including project scorecards and benefits
  • Leverage best practices among Real Estate functions, regions and applicable product company organizations
  • Manage financial planning, reporting, and budgeting (including FM) Point of Contact for the regional ops leaders on all Real Estate portfolio (transactions & real estate projects)
  • Communicate with Regional leaders, Product Company leaders and global properties leaders regularly to update status of region BHGE portfolio update
  • Partner with the commercial team to understand needs and provide data on real estate costs as deal are being negotiated
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline, business or real estate related degree from an accredited university
  • Preferred minimum 7-10 years of experience in corporate real estate, facilities or property management
  • Accreditation and/or licenses in real estate disciplines a plus
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in the English language and multilingual is a plus
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, domestically and internationally as required
Desired Characteristics:
  • International Corporate Real Estate experience handling lease negotiations, acquisitions, dispositions and strategic planning assignments
  • Proven team leadership skills; ability to effectively influence and motivate others
  • Able to demonstrate skills in strategic business planning
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Multilingual
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, PC proficiency
  • Demonstrated ability as a change agent
  • Knowledge of Facilities and Maintenance processes and shop measurements
  • Established project management and analytical abilities
  • Demonstrated performance in a leadership position
