About the Role: We are looking for a Communications Expert in Sustainability to join our APAC Consumer Fabrics Team. The focus of the role will be to develop and drive a proactive sustainability communications strategy in the APAC region.
Responsibilities :
  • Drive active sustainability communications in APAC (especially to value chain stakeholders like TMLs, key retailers, CMAs): develop a strategy and lead execution/be part of execution
  • Develop an understanding of the the non-value chain stakeholder landscape in APAC, collaborate with the divisional champion to derive prioritized engagement plans and execute as appropriate
  • Provide sustainability knowledge to the regional Gore teams (sales, product support): broadly understand sustainability topics that are relevant to the region, be the go-to person to pull in divisional resources as appropriate
  • Help the sales , marketing and retail teams to develop the capabilities to confidently deliver key sustainability messages to their accounts
  • Provide knowledge about the communication and stakeholder needs to the global sustainability/business strategy

Required Qualifications:
  • At least 8 years relevant experiences in Sustainability communications expertize
  • Experience in consumer related industry
  • Degree holder, preferred major in marketing and communication
  • Proficiency in English and 1 other Asia language (either Mandarin, Korean or Japanese)
  • Self-starter , self-driven, Intercultural sensitivities
  • Excellent communicator ( verbal and written)
Desired Qualifications:
  • Science related academic background is a plus
  • Experience in Garment or footwear industry
