This new manager role is setup to support APJ SMG region's vision of 25-25. You will be expected to build APJ market models and insights to support the formulation and execution of APJ SMG strategy. This team will collaborate with BU Sales, TSS, BU segment leads for market trend sensing, verticals growth opportunities and challenges.
You will build the data-based foundation for strategy development and upon which regional KPI goals can be anchored on in addition to multi-year pipeline opportunities. The model you build will help answer the critical market questions that inform our strategic choices. The position requires a solid understanding of Intel's various BUs strategy and business acumen, ability to work effectively across functional and organizational boundaries and the ability to communicate effectively across various stakeholders and partners.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- This role will build a small and agile team to support various strategic initiatives in APJ SMG. Prior people manager experience is a must.
- Self-starter attitude, good business instincts, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Demonstrated thought leadership and cross-group collaboration skills
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to translate ambiguous business requirements into complex analyses and actionable insights
- Proven leadership experience in a multi-cultural and cross-functional team environment
- Excels in an innovative, fast-paced environment, with rapid exploration and the ability to execute

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
