Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
Major Responsibilities: Lead TC Account QA team to work with Commercial and Manufacturing site to solve quality issue and work with manufacturing team for product quality continuous improvement to meet customer expectation Day to Day Responsibilities: Co-works with cross function to reduce quality issue and get the No. one ranting at customer site Lead TC AQA team for Quality Issue investigation including root cause and Corrective / Preventive actions identification and feedback to Commercial AE on time Review QI 8D report and align with AE Section Manager for critical QI Support external customer audit and qualification Supports Division wide for quality improvement projects Business trip needed for customer issue handling or regular Monthly meeting Work with China/Japan Regions QA for off-load product quality improvement Coordinate emergency meeting with Leadership (Plant Manager / OPS / Plant Dept Head / Commercial) for QI issue handling and discussion Job Specification: Education • B.S or above degree in Engineering relative major Experience • At least 3 years QA or Quality issue handling experiences in industry would be a plus. Skill • Problem solving: Quality tools & Statistic analysis skill • Internal and external communication skill • Negotiation skill • DOE or 6 sigma GB • 8D report understanding & preparation • Meeting and project coordination skill • Good pressure management • Positive Thinking and optimism for each challenge
