Position Description


Are you a recent AR Accountant candidate who are looking to join a global ASX listed blue chip organization and take the next step in your career?

As part of the team, your role will be to reconciliation and collection of National Trade Debtors, using consistent and standardized processes and procedures that will facilitate the collection of trade debt within agreed targets. This role will be based at our Shanghai office and reports directly to the Credit Control Manager.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Trade Debtors Account reconciliation on a timely basis to ensure no delay for customer acceptance and sign off invoices; collection and administration of overdue accounts including problem solving to ensure the timely collection of these accounts

  • Recommendation and implementation of action on slow and problem accounts in line with the company credit control and collection policy; reporting of overdue and credit accounts to Managers and Sales team

  • Building and maintaining close relationships with the sales team and customers

  • Field visit to customers; dispute Resolution with Supply Chain and Sales team to solve AR disputes

  • Analysis of AR booking for OEM accrual revenue and bad debt; golden invoice settlement and follow up on unbilled revenue

  • Calculate, review and reconcile output tax amount for month-end and ensure output files advised for GL every month-end; reconcile output VAT between SAP and golden invoice system

  • Management of Golden invoice/accounts receivable voucher/ Original contract of FMCG Customers

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Good business and financial acumen; effective verbal and written communication skills; open, energetic, good influential skills

  • Strong commitment of achieving targets; College degree in Accounting or related field; Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.

  • Good business and financial acumen; effective verbal and written communication skills; considerable experience in Account Receivable field in multi-national companies.

  • SAP experience in FI-CO module is a plus; in-depth knowledge of reconciliation and collection policy, process and practice; energy and resilience to lead and drive change

  • Strong focus on delivery, including attention to detail; in-depth knowledge of China VAT tax and Golden Invoice system is a must; team Work

  • Initiative, ability to work under pressure
