ASIC Formal Verification
Data is our future. 90 percent of all data today was created in the last two years and this trend will only accelerate. With the advent of AI, autonomous cars and data science, all of the data infrastructure we have built until now will need to be doubled in the next five years. Can you think of the possibilities?
The Vancouver ASIC team develops IPs and SoCs that are the brains of next generation devices, powering the cloud and data centers around the world. As part of the ASIC formal verification team, you will use state of the art tools based on mathematical methodologies to verify complex digital designs and locate difficult to find bugs that escape mainstream verification methods. Formal verification is an emerging verification methodology that is being adopted by every major SoC design company. In this position you have an opportunity to learn and contribute in this exciting new area.
Employees are encouraged to work remotely due to Covid-19, all new hire orientations will be done virtually. This is subject to change and employees deemed as essential workers may be required to work on-site.
Qualifications
We are looking for enthusiastic students with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills and a desire to learn. Opportunities are available in a broad variety of System-on-a-Chip development roles - including design, implementation, and verification

Minimum Qualifications:
- General knowledge of digital logic concepts
- Strong debugging skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Digital Logic Design (Verilog, SystemVerilog, SVA preferred)
- Experience with Linux based software development and testing
- Knowledge/Experience of formal verification a strong plus
- Low level scripting (TCL, Python) is useful
- Object Oriented programming experience

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00 (Hourly Role)

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
