Prod Development Eng. Test Engineer – Sr. Engineer

 

THE ROLE:

The role is a test and quality driven team responsible for debugging qualification failure and customer return of Enterprise products. Pre-silicon responsibilities for the Test Engineer include understanding product features, developing HTOL qualification/characterization test program, and identifying test coverage holes. This requires interaction with Design, Product, Quality and Platform Engineering and allows for the opportunity to provide enhancement feedback for future designs. Post-silicon responsibilities include microprocessor debug & analysis and the execution of HTOL qualification/characterization plans. This may include silicon performance issues, yield issues, manufacturing processes, and device marginalities. The Debug/Qual Test Engineer will work closely with Design, Fab process, Quality, Product and Platform Engineering to root cause issues that result from the debug, characterization and margin analysis.

 

THE PERSON:

As the role of Test Engineer, we expect you could be self-motivation, creative thinking, and good communication skill in English

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with Global teams on test engineering activities including new product validation, characterization, qualification and release to production.
• Manage HTOL qualification test program development, Qual failure debug and production reject characterization when introducing new products and their ramp to volume production
• Lead customer return debug and production QASLT rejects debug in sustaining stage, provide the report of failing reason and drive product quality improvement by working closely with quality and product development teams.
• Work with cross functional teams and maintain committed schedules on multiple projects while interfacing with other engineering disciplines & various levels of management.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Test engineer or Product Engineering
• Prefer experience with ATE test development
• Prefer experience with Automotive product
• Prefer experience with ATPG Scan, Memory BIST, Functional test or HSIO test
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Capable to work independently and work with other groups to provide solution
• IC Design experience is a plus
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Required Degree: BS
• Preferred Degree: MS
• Preferred Major: Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer science
