This position will assist in the administration of the retirement plans for the US. In addition, the Benefits AVP will gather, evaluate and analyze a wide variety of data and information related to the BNP Paribas benefit programs, providing functional and technical support to ensure compliance with federal and state laws. This includes reporting and analytics, vendor management and assisting the Director of Benefits in the development and maintenance of the retirement program.
Retirement Administration and Reporting
Responsible for administration of defined benefit plans (qualified and non-qualified) to ensure regulatory compliance,
Submits Pension calculation request to Pension Plan Administrator and acts as back-up to review calculations for accuracy.
Subject matter expert to employees regarding inquiries for all pension retirement plans
Subject matter expert and keeper of minutes as a member of the Pension Benefit Committee
Works closely with Director of Benefits, internal partners and external vendors to assist in development and delivery of participant education including written materials, webinars and classroom style training related to retirement programs
Participates in the preparation and submission of government-mandated reporting: Form 5500’s, 1095C
Subject matter expert to both internal /external auditors in regular audits of pension benefit plans to ensure compliance with government regulations
Interfaces with internal Human Resources, HR Communications, Compensation, HRIS and Finance departments to ensure all pension/401k processes are correct: 401k outbound Expat Bonus funding, Monthly Termination reports, 5558 extensions for Supp. DC Plan. VDC plan distributions
Responsible for producing, analyzing, and testing various reports within strict deadlines 401k bonus deferral, NDT testing, AS19 Expense report

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in employee benefits, with in-depth knowledge of retirement programs, policies and regulations.
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and project management skills
Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work autonomously, while recognizing team oriented goals
Ability to multi task, detail oriented, resourceful
