We are now recruiting a Manufacturing Execution Systems Specialist to join our diverse Supply Chain Team in Clonshaugh, Dublin. This is a permanent position. The Manufacturing Execution Systems Specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting the POMSnet MES environment recipes and worksheets required for OSD manufacturing at the Clonshaugh site. They’re also responsible for evaluating business needs and recommending the development and implementation solutions to bring value and continuous improvement to the Clonshaugh manufacturing processes through the use of POMSnet MES system. A snapshot of your key responsibilities as Manufacturing Execution Systems Specialist would be: Troubleshoot and provide solutions for all MES problems in recipe execution and recipe authoring. Design, create, write and/or make all required changes to MES Recipes, worksheets, equipment and material spec's to a high quality standard. Liaise with Clonshaugh Manufacturing and Quality functions to close out MES execution exceptions. Liaise with Clonshaugh quality function to provide approved documentation for all MES system changes. Design, create, write and execute system and test documentation to a high quality standard. Design, create, write and/or make all required changes to ensure cleaning, equipment and product procedures (CIs, CIRs, MIs, MIRs and SOPs) are aligned to MES processes and vice versa. Participate in MES knowledge exchanges, MES Governance meetings, GMES Technical Review Board (TRB) Meetings, and manage issues, work-around and fixes identified. Continuously review and ensure all business processes, including SOPs, required to implement and manage POMSnet system changes and POMSnet recipe changes comply with current Safety, Quality and Information Technology policies. Work closely with IT regarding upgrades, patching, hardware support, security and system access. Provide support to other MES system users as required to ensure business continuity. Qualifications So, what do you need to do this role? Education & Experience Demonstrated working knowledge of POMSnet and / or other Manufacturing Execution systems to support OSD processes. (POMsnet or manufacturing solutions in other systems e.g. SAP) Demonstrated involvement and leadership in the implementation of technical software for manufacturing processes Degree/Diploma: Relevant science/engineering or IT discipline is advantageous or involvement in at least 2 full phase IT projects focused on Manufacturing Execution solutions. A minimum of 8 years experience in Batch Pharmaceutical processing. Strong knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements relating to the pharmaceutical industry is required. A good knowledge of IT systems/ MES and a keen interest in creating and delivering solutions through technology is required for this role. So, are you ready to join our team?
