We are now recruiting for Production and Packaging Operators to join our diverse Unit Dose team in Westport on a 6-month contract. The Operators will operate high-speed equipment for the manual or automated assembly and packaging of pharmaceutical products, ensuring adherence to specifications. Then read on… Key Activities: • Maintain a clean and organized work area during and at the end of each shift. • Assist AbbVie in achieving environmental, health, and safety goals by working safely and observing all general plant and department safety policies. • Operate high-speed Tampoprint machines to produce product for packaging & ensuring adherence to specifications. • Conduct in-process checks on production orders. • Complete beginning & end line clearances on Tampoprint lines in accordance with SOPs and cGMPs. • Perform all assigned duties by the Manager/Line lead in accordance with departmental SOP's and cGMP's. • Remain current on proper procedures by reviewing current, revised, and new SOP's relating to the job and to the department. • Complete and remain current with all required cGMP and safety training. • Perform tasks in the Tampoprint of product to provide on-time delivery to customers. • Complete all required documentation associated with the packaging of product. • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications; Education, Competencies and Experience • Leaving cert or equivalent qualification required. • Ability to build strong relationships and work within cross-functional teams. • Strong communication and presentations skills, both written and oral. Articulate the quality requirements in a clear, concise and persuasive manner. • Aptitude to Plan & Organise work schedules with an analytical mindset. • Good decision making to identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities whilst providing a viable solution. • Adaptability to work in a fast, dynamic environment whilst adjusting readily to meet unexpected constraints. • Drive, high energy, maturity, and ability to work under pressure, deliver results, and overcome obstacles. • Team player who can collaborate with others to achieve organizational targets and goals.
