SUMMARY

With offices in Los Angeles and Shanghai, American Education Advisors (AEA) is recruiting a Director of Academics for one of our top-notch partner schools in China. This opportunity begins in late August.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Uphold the school's educational policies
Create benchmarks for students and teachers and monitor progress towards reaching those goals
Collaborate with teachers, parents and students to provide the best education for every student to help them reach their academic and professional goals
Provide guidance to student leaders and challenge them to make the school a better place
Help create a dynamic team by participating in hiring, training and other employment activities for instructors and secondary staff members
Oversee budgeting and grant proposals; determine budgets for items such as staff, equipment, supplies and materials

?SALARY

Up to $90,000 per year
The approximate monthly cost of living is $1,000.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in related field
2+ years of full-time experience as Academic Director or other school leadership role
Must be a citizen of: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa
Administrators over 60 are not eligible due to China's work visa (Z-Visa) policies.
Ability to speak Chinese is NOT REQUIRED
Must relocate to China
