Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:

  • assisting in the daily activities of the School;
  • providing secretarial support for school committees/projects;
  • organizing various School activities/events;
  • handling enquiries and liaising with internal and external parties;
  • assisting in general administrative duties including preparation of reports, office management, budgeting and staff supervision;
  • providing onsite & offsite student admissions support for programmes;
  • updating webpages of programmes and the School; and
  • performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean of E&L or his/her nominee.

Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • a recognized bachelor’s degree, preferably with relevant work experience;
  • a good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • good interpersonal and organizational skills;
  • ability to work independently;
  • investigative nature, good analytical skills as well as detail-minded work attitude;
  • a logical mind and strong computer skills; and
  • understanding of web page design and promotional initiatives via social media will be an advantage.

Compensation Package
Competitive compensation package including basic salary, end-of-contract gratuity and discretionary incentive (if any) will be offered to the right candidate.  Fringe benefits such as generous annual leave, staff learning and development sponsorship, medical & dental benefits and life insurance coverage will also be provided.
