Accessories Merchandiser 小商品业务员
职位描述
The merchandiser is in charge of devevelopment of his/her categories sales by exceeding buyers ? purchasing ? projections & improving quality ratios.
Responsibilities:
Principal missions
Sourcing
- Define together with all your stakeholders your sourcing strategy.
- Build and maintain a strong local and regional vendor network to meet brand' current and future business needs.
- Analyze the developments/quotations, make sure all is clear and on time.
- Accessories Sample Development: To identify, develop and monitor sample production to meet product manager and buyers’requirements.
Costing
- Monitor and ensure competitive quotations are obtained from appropriate factories for potential programs througn cost sheet.
- Suggest alternatives and work proactively in order to reach best price, quality & lead-time.
- Send the development/quotation to best suitable suppliers.
- Get back the quotation from the suppliers and analyze the price according to price,quality and lead-time. Send best package to buyer.
- Give feedback to supplier regarding price and possible requests for improvements
- Follow up deadlines for developments/quotations.
- Identification of factories and negotiation of price, payment terms, deliveries etc.
Communication
- Create and enhance long-term business relationships with team in headquarter of France to maximize business growth and opportunities.
- Work closely with buyers in headquarter to achieve purchasing targets and cost saving, understand needs & create a strong communication channel with all stakeholders.
Order Tracking
- Work and strengthen cooperation with Quality and Technician teams/suppliers to ensure bulk products meet specification/quality standard, negotiate claims etc.
- Take full responsibility from the order received till the goods are sold.
- Involved in each critical stage throughout the order tracking process from fabric/yarn supply, pre-production preparation to production process tracking and to make sure each step is properly implemented. Negotiate with factories on major changes. Diagnose production problems and work with suppliers to present viable alternatives to both buyers and local director.
- Be proactive and take more initiatives& solve problems, conflicts between buyers and factories, e.g. delivery delay and share them with the rest of the teams.
- Secure deadlines to ensure on time delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in textile, trading, etc.
- At least 5 yr experience of Textile/garment production with global sourcing office, European
- Knowledgeable of costing, market trends, product safety requirements, textile material,
- Very familiar with vendor network for garment manufacturing in Asia area
- Good planning and organization skills for developing clear, actionable and measurable plans,
- Good negotiation skills to satisfy the interests of multiple parties to maximize the cost-saving for
- Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility to fit new and unusual situations to achieve business
goals
- Able to anticipate, prioritize, delegate, monitor work activities.
- A team player.
- Strong communication skills. solution oriented, handle stress well, responsible, honest and
- Effective methods for delivering qualified service to headquarters
- Willing to travel nationally regularly.
- Good communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin in both written and oral
- Good command of Excel,Word,PPT and so on for office software.
- Flexible, able to work under pressure, self-motivated with initiatives, curious, convincing, early
