Job Description

You will be responsible for a Hong Kong based portfolio of P&C and Fashion clients, working with a team of Creative Designers and Project Managers. You will be accountable for the delivery of all projects and the overall profitability of your portfolio of clients.

Much of this role is client facing and requires a confident, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, an ability to successfully delegate, and a flair for understanding clients’ business challenges and how to tackle them.

A right hand person to the GM you’ll own commercial success from leading client strategy, developing relationships and maximising growth potential to overseeing productivity, delivery and profitability.

Developing client relationships As the senior focal point of the client’s relationships, you will be responsible for developing, consolidating and farming existing business in Hong Kong and Asia. As such the role will require excellent communication skills and a good understanding of our client’s businesses and their business strategies. Your role will require
regular meetings and business updates with the senior management of your clients.

Gaining the team’s trust
To succeed in this role you will be required to gain the team’s trust by getting a full understanding of our work process, from strategy to implementation. You will need to provide leadership to the team, using your ability to co-ordinate, provide commercial and strategic guidance and inspire people to deliver.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Direction
• Execution of the CircleSquare strategy & ethos.
• Understanding clients’ business needs and strategy.
• Proactivity in identifying opportunities of growth with existing clients.
• Management of overall profitability of your group of accounts.
• Providing monthly business reviews inclusive of P&Ls.

2. Client servicing of key clients / key projects
• Taking and challenging client briefs where necessary.
• Financial management of key projects.
• Briefing of creative team.
• Presentation of design concepts to clients.

3. People Management
• Providing commercial and strategic guidance to the project management team.

Skills Required
• An agency experienced Senior Account Manager / Account Director with an entrepreneurial streak that is now looking to join a smaller agency in a senior and impactful role.
• Ability to nurture client relationships at senior level, spot new business opportunities and act on 
them.
• A creative and strategic thinker that leads from the front, enjoys getting hands on and demands quality.
• Commercially astute with sound financial management and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to manage several projects at once.
• Experience in managing a team - leadership, authority, energy and intuition.
• An interest and appreciation of good design.
