Duties:
This is a role for an experienced and versatile sales person who is equally competent at prospecting for new sales opportunities and growing existing accounts. This role will be responsible for generating pan-regional advertising business from Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan based direct clients and agencies for the Turner Kids and Entertainment portfolio (Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Warner TV & Oh!K) across TV, Digital, Social and Onground. In this role, the Account Director, will appoint and manage ad-reps as required.

Success in this role will rely on an in-depth knowledge of the media industry and a comprehensive understanding of Turner's portfolio. The candidate should be adept at a Cross platform sell and delivering Branded Content Solutions. Clear understanding of Digital (including Programmatic), Social as well as Data is a key requirement. The individual should be able to forge senior level relationships and develop trust and loyalty with agencies and key clients. Revenue and Opportunity Development

  • Achieves revenue targets by prospecting and converting new clients along with growing existing business
  • Is adept at a cross platform sell and leading with Digital first pitches. Is able to decode a client's brief, identify assets and tools suited to that brief, develop and put forward a crisp and impactful pitch to secure the business
  • Takes the initiative to work collaboratively with teams across the business to develop and deliver compelling pitches and proposals to secure sales
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle (prospect to contract) to close sales opportunities successfully
  • Gathers market information and intelligence from a variety of sources in order to prospect for new advertisers
  • Applies an in-depth understanding of the customers' business to develop trusted management and working level relationships with agencies and direct clients. Sales Fulfillment
  • Has individual accountability on ensuring that the campaign is delivered at the qualitative and quantitative benchmarks set at the pitch stage. He/she works closely with Client Solutions as well as Sales Planner to ensure fulfilment, suggest improvements / optimisations
  • With the team, resolves account / campaign issues quickly and equitably Trade Engagement & Business Planning
- Continually engage the Ad Agencies & Advertisers at every level - making them constantly aware of Product enhancements, creative offerings & other opportunities
  • Develop plans and execute all elements of successful Seasonal/Quarterly Roadshows for Ad Sales Clients (Ad Agencies & Advertisers), as well as annual Trade Shows
  • Assists the Sales Head with annual, quarterly and monthly sales Planning and Forecasts ensuring that the forecasts are true to market conditions
  • Continuously evolve personal and professional capability in line with business needs

Experience Requirements
  • Advertising sales experience in digital and broadcast firms
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Program or project management experience
  • Experience managing ad sales representatives
