Job Description
Account Executive/Manager
Own the GBI relationship for a portfolio of assigned clients, increase GBI sales revenues year on year by driving new sales and assist on renewals of the GBI portfolio of products and services.
Description
Account management of Pharma clients, drive the identification and development of new sales opportunities for the entire GBI China portfolio. Build cross client company knowledge and relationships to secure access to key decision makers to develop and close sales opportunities. Combine telephone/email/webinar based sales activity with regular on the ground direct sales activity in the offices of each client.

Key responsibilities
o Deliver the quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned portfolio of clients
o Manage accounts at major Pharma companies in China. Develop business opportunities for the GBI portfolio
o Work in partnership with GBI Product Specialists to develop and close sales opportunities.
o For new accounts proactively identify new contacts and audiences, cultivate relationships and develop and close sales opportunities
o Accurately capture sales opportunities status and details in net suite system and report weekly on progress to sales management

Competencies & Required Experience
o 1 year+ of Pharma industry experience, with 1-2 years as an account manager in a Pharma client facing B2B services role is a plus
o Bachelor’s degree, preferably in life sciences or a similar field
o Communicatable in Chinese
o Self-motivated, able to work independently but also a strong team player and contributor within the organization
o Excellent presentation and communication skills
