This is an exciting new opportunity to join our Channel team as the Channel Account Executive you will build and promote the company’s position as the worldwide leader in Infrastructure Solutions, specifically through the partner community within NSW. Setting high standards, being a great team mate and contributing to the revenue growth with current partners as well as forge new relationships with new partners in the region are all key aspects to this role. Our Channel AEs are responsible for managing all nominated reseller partnerships within the guidelines of Lenovo’s channel programs within the geographic territory and spearheading new business development. Coaching, educating and training the partners in the Company’s products and technologies will be expected. The Channel AE is responsible for achieving sales, enablement and partner recruitment objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Overall channel strategy and execution • Develop and execute business plans driving all aspects of the partner relationship to maximise growth opportunities and ensuring the partner is well-positioned to deliver successful customer implementations and recommendations. • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts in • Build a plan for revenue, partner enablement and training in assigned territory for key partners • Comprehensive and C-level relationship building with key Business Partners • Assume full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting by demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of sales cycle and update company CRM accordingly. • Meet and exceed sales quotas and revenue goals • Manages potential channel conflict by fostering excellent communication internally and externally and through strict adherence to Lenovo’s channel program guidelines. • Proactively recruit new qualifying partners where required. #### Position Requirements: • 5+ years sales and territory management ideally in Infrastructure (Server, Storage, Cloud, Networking). • Experience building business and marketing plans with partners. • Experience with the channel business model. • Experience in sales forecasting, opportunity identification and drive to close • Excellent track record of sales achievements. • Understanding and in-depth knowledge of products and services, industry trends, and competition. • You must be a team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • You should be able to identify business opportunities and act on them and bring to fruition.
