From the simplest to the most complex IT environments for all types of workloads, our servers, storage, networking and solutions help maximize the potential of data centers. What You’ll Do: As a VMWare Account Executive for DCG, you’ll be responsible for delivering net new account wins across all customer segments for our Data Center Group in North America. You will drive not only revenue, but profit as well to position our company for continued growth and success. You will champion the innovative power of our products that are tied to VMWare (our VMWare appliance we call VX) to make large enterprise companies more productive, collaborative and transformative. You will understand Lenovo’s portfolio of award-winning products and develop strategies to help new and existing enterprise customers find and implement the best solutions. This is 100% new acquisition sales focused on building new clients using our VX offering. A successful candidate will demonstrate proven success in leveraging both channel and direct sales to penetrate accounts. Essential qualifications include: deep data center industry experience selling full solutions (not just product), strong sales strategy and execution skills, and expertise working large deals with contacts from the C level down to other core stakeholders. A deep and thorough knowledge of VMWare solutions. This is a pure hunter role and over time will remain focused on new acquisition sales vs. retention. The position is work from home with travel to customer sites for meetings (when appropriate based on current business environment). Key Responsibilities: • Independently identify, develop, and close new large enterprise opportunities for the VX offering within the territory across multiple verticals • Achieve revenue and profitability objectives for Lenovo while driving growth across multiple product sets • Independently develop, implement, and execute an effective sales strategy to achieve sales goals • Develop C level relationships and serve as a trusted consultant to customers • Understand and adapt to Lenovo’s ongoing product and services developments • Ensure that our customers receive world class sales and customer service #### Position Requirements: Minimum Requirements: • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional work experience. • 7+ years of successful enterprise technology sales focused on data center solutions is required.
