Job summary:

In the role as Account Manager the candidate will manage the establishment and development of the DKSH Chain business in Mainland China.

  • The key aim is to develop authentic relationships with new potential customer accounts sustainably.
  • Drive the achievement of agreed targets in the expansion of the sales network and topline.
  • Take the sales responsibility for a topline of about 6-10m CNY.
  • Development of the business and shape the strategy, culture and values within the framework of DKSH principles.


Job description:

  • Sales.
  • Execution and development of the sales strategy for our chain clients in major regions of China.
  • Establishment of local pricing and rebate structures.
  • Frequently join customer visits across the market and lead pitches to win new projects.
  • Lead project meetings and negotiations together with customers and in cooperation with the factory.
  • Responsible to calculate, review and sign sales contracts (deal making).
  • Managing daily sales processes including, contract negotiation and collection of payment.
  • Arrangement of product demonstrations and service provision.
  • Marketing and Branding.
  • Execute and shape specific initiatives to increase the value of the brands we represent as well as the DKSH brand.


Job requirment:

  • Experience in application driven value selling of industry leading brands.
  • Strong communication skills and sales negotiation experience.
  • Winning , authentic, direct and self-driven personality.
  • English: basic communication skills (reading and writing) required.
  • Experience in working with CRM systems e.g. Salesforce.com.
  • Flexible for domestic travels.
  • Bachelor degree or above in business, hospitality or engineering as a plus.
  • Sales experience in food and beverage industry and familiar with food and beverage equipment, food materials or mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Experience in the fast developing coffee industry - and knowledge of automatic and semi-automatic coffee machines and brand landscape in China.
  • Experience in systematic sales approach and developing new customers.
  • First leadership and team management experience a plus.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and sales negotiation experience.
