Position Overview:

A key account management position in Fragrances division, directly responsible for driving and managing Home Care (mainly Laundry) growth across North Asia (specially China).

  • As a Key Account Manager you will be reporting to China Commercial leader and responsible for developing and growing assigned products category to achieve business targets.
  • Accountable for achieving sales target on the assigned key account.
  • Build and maintain relationship with key customers, buyers and keep abreast of trade developments, competition, emerging consumer’s behaviors and trends
  • To be able to establish also a strong link w/ our internal Global Organization and to work well w/ different cultures and positions.
  • Formulate annual customer business plan which has to be in line with marketing and sales strategies to grow the assigned key account
  • Identify new business opportunities and work closely with China Commercial leader, Regional Account Manager and Global Category Coordinator to translate opportunities into actionable plans.
  • Responsible for rolling sales/demand forecast of the entire range Implement marketing and sales programs in assigned key accounts to achieve the respective brand’s marketing and sales objectives.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of products, share products’ information with the customers.
  • Work closely with the Fragrances Creative team in the organizing of promotional activities such as trade exhibitions, road shows etc.

Required Skills:

Essential

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Chemistry discipline (others TBD)
  • Strong interest in perfumery and product development (Marketing/R&D) is mandatory
  • Creative and innovative thinking
  • Strong business acumen and results oriented
  • Ability to deal with financial concepts/processes i.e. pricing, margin, forecasting, statistics and IT systems
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to communicate well and possess excellent presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and planning skills especially at priority setting
  • Ability to work both independently or within a team environment
  • Proficiency in computing skills such as MS office PowerPoint, Excel

Preferred

  • Relevant Master's degree
  • Smelling skills - Olfactory
  • Strong negotiation techniques


Required Experience:

Essential

  • 2-3 years of global sales account management experience, sales activities map, negotiation, project management skills – if not on Account Management – experience in other areas that have relation and interaction with Global accounts – would also be acceptable.
  • Good knowledge of North Asia fragrance market, portfolio, marketing trends and olfactive routes

Preferred

  • Between 2-4 years of fragrance industry experience preferably in global account management
  • Between 2-4 years of FMCG experience (specially in a global one)
  • Global account client relationship management
