About the Role:

As an Account Manager, you will manage large, complex client partnerships, within the Life Science vertical.  Primarily focused on German and Swiss clients, your customers may also be located across the EMEA region, and be global in nature. You will manage and grow your account portfolio by continuously identifying and capturing new sources of revenue within assigned accounts.       
    
Our office is in are Berlin, Germany, but we are open to having you work remotely. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Engagement Management: Build and maintain client relationship as the primary point of contact and serve as the primary escalation contact for client resolution of issues. Responsible for the day-to-day management of client accounts within the Life Science industry.
  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business within the existing accounts, grow newly onboarded clients.          
  • Maintain strong relationships within client organizations                
  • Prepare and conduct quarterly strategic account planning meetings and annual executive summits with clients                 
  • Articulate needs and desires of the client and translate them into actionable plans for the business unit                    
  • Collaborate with other departments to draft and negotiate contracts
  • Initiate and promote continuous improvement of procedures, processes, standards and programs to gain cost-effectiveness    

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the localization industry, business consulting, service selling required with a focus on clients from the Life Science industry                
     
  • Business development and relationship management
  • Excellent knowledge of German (C2) – your clients will be mostly German speaking
  • Advanced Business English speaking and writing knowledge required      
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, team-player
