About the role

The Account Manager is responsible for business relationship between key customers and Kerry. This position manages all aspects of that relationship by ensuring that all transactions between KA and the customers are consistent.

Key responsibilities

  • Build a successful business model with at least 10 accounts that effectively executes the chain strategies
    a) captures a unique compelling menu insight that convinces an account there is a reason to modify the menu.
    b) present a great tasting menu item using the least amount of customized solutions.
    c) make sure the product can get delivered on time and profitably.
  • Ensure the monthly sales forecasting accuracy through proactive communication with customer and customer service team
  • Proactively monitor the payment performance of the defined customers and actively take measures in cooperation with the credit control function to ensure timely payment of customer invoices
  • Other responsibilities assigned by supervisor

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above
  • More than 5 years KA working experience, ideally cover QSR, Cafe or Bakery channels
  • Familiar with commercial methodology and tools
  • Food Service industry working experience is a must, experience in ingredients and flavors is a plus
  • Price setting and margin management
  • Develops and implements new and unique solutions to menu innovation, operation efficiency improving and create competitive advantage.
  • Experienced in communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly
  • Possesses a basic understanding of relevant scientific knowledge (Food Science, Packaging, Sensory, Nutrition, Regulatory, Quality/Micro)
  • Understanding of Kerry’s and customers’ competitors and how to differentiate Kerry’s offerings.
