Full Time - Accounts Receivable Analyst – Nashville, TN - 2020

Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience in finance for a HealthTech company.
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Take an active role in our Accounts Receivable team. The role will be responsible for reconciling, matching remittances and cash applications with a defined group of legacy acquisition portfolios, at Philips’ Healthcare North American by maintaining excellent relationships with our customers, internal finance leadership, and cross-functional business partners.
You are responsible for
Accountable for reviewing any deductions or short paid invoices, identifying root cause, and collaborating with the internal department(s) to expedite dispute resolution
Post client cash timely and accurately as it is received through various sources
Resolve payment application discrepancies ensuring adjustments are completed in a timely fashion
Prepare recommendations for unclaimed property
Escalate major unapplied cash issues with Management that may require special attention/ support
Support and develop accounts receivable lean process improvements

The Global Business Services team, reporting to a Senior Cash Manager. This role is part of the Philips Finance Organization (FinOps).

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or similar
Customer Service experience either through internship or coop, or other previous employment
Excel 2016 (pivot tables, vLookups),a plus
Familiarity with accounting applications, preferred
