Position Summary:
Bentley Systems invites talented individuals to join our high-performance team of Account Representatives. Account Representatives will manage their opportunities, quotes, and orders for their targeted accounts and territories.
This is a sales revenue generating role, supporting existing accounts with Bentley software products, services, training, and cloud offerings that help our Users achieve their desired business outcomes. You will work to develop and win business opportunities in an assigned territory. Successful Account Representatives will thrive in a fast-paced environment, are self-motivated and will ideally have experience of inside sales working in a matrix environment.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Actively sell in the assigned territory and accounts, create new business, and identify up- / cross-selling areas.
- Provide Sales Support and Service to assigned territory as well as focused accounts.
- Own opportunity and quote creation in focused accounts and territory as appropriate tracking all activity in company CRM
- Develop a sales pipeline, and forecast all revenue, by effectively following the sales process and managing all opportunities in CRM
- Advise accounts and assist them through BSY Offer Types (Virtuoso Subscriptions, Select, E365 qualification and understanding.)
- Facilitate and triage internal legal case site, deal desk, and proposal requests.
- Help focused accounts service tickets.
- Qualify and close transactional inbound and usage-based opportunities.
- Lead CSS replenishments that are not auto-invoiced
- Maintain a high knowledge of Bentley’s current commercial programs, offerings, and products.
- Learn and adhere to the Bentley Sales Process while using CRM as the sales reporting system.
- Take the lead in working with Users who you interface with and engage proactively with SMB Team colleagues on ensuring the right product/right fit solutions are delivered to drive outcomes in the account.
- Support and facilitate subscription renewals of key accounts, working closely with the Subscription Renewals team and the SMB Team where appropriate.
- Onboarding new accounts:
- Bentley Events awareness
- Bentley Training awareness
- Execute focused campaigns
- Develops initial account plans leveraging the BSY sales planning process on focused accounts
- Collaborates across all functional teams, Renewals, SMB Sales, Financial Operations, and User Success in order to deliver best-in-class outcomes for the Users.
What You Bring to The Team:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with a software company in Inside Sales, Financial Operations, and/or Customer Service, with a flair for communicating with accounts and maximizing the account’s outcomes and Bentley’s revenue.
- A pleasant non-intrusive manner, positive attitude, eye for detail, resourceful and inquisitive.
- Self-starter, driven and accountable.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and coordinate activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to effectively present information to users and prospects via phone and web.
- Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general business applications is required.
- Excellent cross-collaboration skills with various internal departments.
- Bachelors or Associates degree in business or business administration or relevant experience.
