We are seeking an Account technology Strategist (ATS), based out of Singapore HQ, for LDP (Local Device Partners) Technical Sales in the Device Partner Sales team to drive technology design-wins across our LDP partner ecosystem in the APAC region in the Consumer, Commercial, Education & IoT marketplaces. The role works with our LDP ecosystem OEMs who are device and solution partners serving their local markets with recognized local brands. This individual will be a passionate technologist, capable of inspiring internal stakeholders and external partners alike to see the business opportunities in Microhsoft technologies leading to new design-ins for the market.

Responsibilities

Technical Evangelism:

  • Be a key technical Trusted Advisor to our APAC LDP OEMs and drive key design-wins with our OEM partners.
  • Partner with the CDS Sales team to deliver a technology vision for our APAC LDP OEM partners to deliver joint success today and in the future.
  • Drive the key Digital Transformation messages to our partners that allow them to build solutions on the Microsoft platform that allow them to build for future success.
  • Be the Technical Sales lead in delivering technology speeches & demos at in-region events or 1 on 1 with the OEMs.

 

Collaboration:

  • Partner closely with Sales to drive a Technology Adoption Plan for the APAC region that that ultimately drives growth of the Microsoft technology platform with our LDP partners.
  • Build and maintain excellent technical sales partner relationships across the APAC OEM ecosystem driving genuine satisfaction with their engagement with Microsoft.
  • Drive great Technical sales ideas, experiences & learnings across the broader team for the benefit of the global ecosystem and learn from the great work that other ATSs are achieving with their partners too.

 

Customer & OEM partner satisfaction:

  • Consult with OEMs on implementation of Intelligent Cloud, Intelligent Edge devices & services that help grow their businesses, as well as Microsofts.
  • Be the partner focal point for understanding both the technology landscape and how to navigate across it with great solutions & services.
  • Act as an internal partner/customer advocate on technical customer needs/risks to senior management and to the product organization
  • Act as the entry point for OEM Technical Sales inquiries and ensure the partner gets the best solution possible quickly.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable level 200 skills across broad spectrum of Microsoft technology - Windows Client (Windows 10), IW (Office) and IoT.
  • Technical Sales experience knowledge and ability to translate complex technical scenarios & ideas to a less technical audience.
  • Technical knowledge of Devices and Cloud Services
  • Building core business relationships and partnering with senior executives at the CXO level
  • Passionate about Technology and the Devices & Services industry.

Skills:

  • Should be adept and forming and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
  • Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years industry related systems engineering or technical sales experience.
  • Expert in the use of Microsoft desktop operating systems preferably holds a MS Certified Systems Engineer certificate.
  • Should be able to apply an entrepreneurial mindset and creative thinking to identifying and executing opportunities.
  • Must speak, read and write English fluently.
  • Korean language skills would be a plus.
