The Compliance and Assurance Program Manager helps to foster trust between Bentley and our accounts and users and is the key colleague to work closely with IT Security, Cloud Services, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders to coordinate and lead responses to account concerns and questions. You will be utilizing your technical knowledge and exemplary communication skills to engage with accounts and users and respond to matters especially concerning cloud, security, privacy, and compliance. You will provide clear and transparent information about Bentley cloud, security, privacy, and compliance practices and procedures. You will help prospective and current users understand the power of Bentley’s cloud offerings by explaining technical features and Bentley’s robust privacy and security protections built into our services and products.
The Compliance and Assurance Program Manager will oversee all aspects of Bentley’s account and user responses to trust and compliance related issues and questions. You will support the Bentley sales process by improving it with your insightful data analysis, troubleshooting, and seamless cross-functional teamwork. Your development of efficient processes and procedures will ensure that accounts and users get the highest quality user support and timely responses to their questions about cloud, security, privacy, and compliance and that any potential roadblocks are identified early on and addressed.
Location: This position can be based from a home office with the ability to travel to our Exton, PA corporate headquarters on a quarterly or as needed basis.
Responsibilities:
- Work hand-in-hand with sales, marketing, product development, IT security, legal, and compliance teams to develop a knowledge base of strategic responses to FAQs from accounts and users.
- Work with sales teams, account managers, and other negotiation stakeholders to understand account technical objections in order to develop communications to resolve blockers related to cloud, security, privacy, and compliance.
- Develop systematic processes, procedures, and enterprise programs to effectively and efficiently respond to account FAQs and questionnaires.
- Participate in user and account meetings to address any concerns and questions and leave the user and account with a positive experience and comfort in Bentley’s security, privacy, and compliance in relation to its product and service offerings.
- Develop programs and communications to enhance knowledge of trust throughout the organization and serve as an advocate of Bentley cloud products and services to accounts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years of work experience with IT security and data protection for cloud software or tech company.
- Experience communicating technical and complex security and data protection solutions and concepts in a clear and transparent manner.
- Knowledge of information security and data protection best practices, laws and regulation, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 2700 series, SOC, NIST, and GDPR.
- Understanding of large-scale data security and privacy challenges, requirements, policies, standards, and implementation strategies.
- Experience building trust with users and accounts by providing strategic and transparent information about security, privacy, and compliance.
- Excellent project and program management skills and self-driven towards innovative solutions.
