The Role:
The accountant is responsible for recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets globally.

• Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recordation of fixed assets.
• Conduct periodic physical counts of fixed assets
• Conduct analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management
• Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their inquiries
• Manage accounting & month-end closing processes, ensuring reliable & timely closing and reporting of in-charge entities to local and Group management
• Manage the relationship with Auditing and Accounting firms during interim and annual reviews
• Ensure proper controls are put in place
• Other duties may be assigned

Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience
• Good command of English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiar with Excel function
• Details oriented, proactive and hands-on

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

• Knowledge of Oracle ERP system is a plus
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and interact with people at all levels of a company.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience
