Job Description
 
Job Specific Responsibilities:
·          Accounts payable support including:
o    creation of purchase orders
o    Receive, verify, match and process invoices for goods and services
o    set invoices up for payment and manage check runs
o    prepare analysis of accounts
o    monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
o    resolve invoice discrepancies
·          Support the company’s vendor management function including vendor consolidation, obtaining quotes and negotiation of rates
·          Assist with transactional accounting support during the month, including month-end closing activities
·          Verify that transactions comply with Company financial policies and procedures
·          Other tasks, as assigned

Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years accounts payable and general accounting experience
  • Experience of performing within a accounting functions in a standalone company environment is beneficial
  • High degree of proficiency with MS Excel is required
  • Experience with Great Plains preferred
  • Proficient in data entry
