To support the Senior Finance Manager to fulfil financial accounting and reporting responsibilities and financial regulatory requirements for Burberry Manifattura. 

• Accurate and timely month-end and periodic reporting, including submissions to Group Finance
• Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met
• Ensure general accounting is accurate and complies with Group accounting policies and local requirements
• Prepare and deliver specific audit requirements (both internal and external)
• Deliver management and statutory reporting requirements
• Prepare statutory accounts 
• Continuous improvement of processes and controls

• Month end reporting
• Assist in the month-end process, posting specific month-end costs (eg payroll, interco, accruals)
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts including sub-ledger accounts (eg AR, VAT, Inter-company)
• Participate in the monthly compliance review of the balance sheets
• Complete the monthly BPC submissions according to Group deadlines
• Submit Finance and Tax pack to Group at HYE and YE
• Support for the preparation of the tax and regulatory returns in a timely manner for review
• Prepare and deliver specific analyses and support for internal and external audit requirements, liaising with the auditors and colleagues across the business as required
• Support for the preparation of the statutory accounts for the entities
• Ad hoc duties, queries and projects as required
   

• Part-qualified accountant
• 2/3 years’ PQE
• Italian essential
• English language would be advantageous    
• Experience of working with Italian ERP as an end-user in a finance environment
• Strong analytical & reporting skills
• Advanced excel user    
• Experience of running closing processes
