Job Description
Job Summary Suppliers support and indexing invoices, perform and support the monthly closing process, prepare Balance sheet Reconciliations BSR (Suppliers, AP intercompany, etc), Accruals entries, etc. Job Responsibilities Maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. Conducts root cause analysis of accounts payable processing errors and suggests process improvements. Establish and monitor compliance with internal accounting controls deemed necessary to ensure integrity of financial transactions, reporting and activities. Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions Prepare monthly reconciliation for B/S accounts. Participates in and/or leads projects related to Accounts Payable improvement Support implementation of improvements to monthly closing procedures ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist and participate in internal / external audits as required. Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement to achieve departmental and GFSS goals. Support site, functional or corporate initiatives. Support and/or lead department activities related to process improvements and standard work. Collaborate with the Internal Control Audit and Statutory Audits for the sites and activities under the scope. Other activities assigned by supervisor or special requirements from management or company. Maintain safe, clean working environment in compliance with all Eaton safety standards, Life Saving Rules, and daily 5S+ requirements to help build a Zero Incident Culture #LI-MA1 Qualifications Qualifications Education level required: Bachelor degree in accounting or finance related. Years and area of experience required: 1-2 years of experience in finance in a multinational company. Technical knowledge: Accounting, accounts payable, bank account reconciliations, AP accrual, month end close reports. Knowledge of data processing in respect of financial systems and multiple ERP systems, particularly Oracle and SAP. - Strong PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word) required. Soft skills: Analytical and thinking skills Intellectual rigor and curiosity Problem-solving capability Solid communication and relationship building English speaking proficiency Strong Interpersonal Skills to communicate with USA based suppliers and Management.
