SUMMARY

The Accounting Assistant provides support and assisting on accounting management for special projects and supplementary reporting for senior cost accounting management. This role responsible to scan all related documents including accounting invoice, debit notes, credit notes, shipment document and upload all accounting invoices to request for check for payment processing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Upload all segment invoices onto Request for Check system (Hong Kong, K2China, Domestic, South Africa, Amsterdam, Canada, Japan, Australia, Mexico, Mexico S, UK, Europe, etc)
  • Request outstanding invoices from vendors base on email from AP team or other colleagues.
  • Send inquires of invoice detail info or statement to AP team to follow up.
  • Cooperate with AP team to meet invoices vouching schedule.
  • Scan all segments receipt accrual reports each week (AU/CA/EU/AM/UK/HK/Domestic/MX, etc.)
  • Responsible update weekly Domestic GCC code file as well as upload supporting in Point man for Planning team.
  • Upload monthly Domestic 3PL Bar Code in Point man.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 1- 2 years assisting in Accounting or Finance related experiences is a plus.

EDUCATION & SKILLS (To be completed by Leader & HR)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Good in reading English is a plus
  • Well organized, teamwork, problem solving, good communication, responsible and detailed.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • None required

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Good in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
