This role acts as a business partner of Siemens management and supports them in achieving the business targets, the development and implementation of Accounting & Controlling strategies, and the adherence to the local laws and internal regulations. This role will be based in our locations in Buenos Aires. Main Challenges You will be responsible for performing accounting and regulatory reporting following Local laws and IFRS requirements. You will be managing day to day accounting functions You will ensure completeness and correctness of the internal and external reporting as well as compliance with accounting controls and processes for all accounting-related closing activities Coordinate the quality assurance as well as accurate and timely processing of business transactions Analyze the accounting treatment for non-routine or material business transactions seeking alignment with different stakeholders (incl. headquarters) Lead the development and digitalization of the accounting processes and interface to the accounting department in the headquarters What we would like to find for this job? University degree in accounting or other finance-related areas Almost 5-10 years of professional experience in accounting area (incl. management functions in this area) Experience in the implementation of accounting standards, tools, and optimization of accounting processes Flexibility and willingness to learn (growth mindset) Fluent in English and Spanish (In this role you will have the option to work with colleagues around the world) We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
