Overview:

This full time Manager position will be responsible for managing a staff of employees within the Transactional Services department, supporting Intercompany Transactions (Inter Company Clearing ICC). 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of all ICC related tasks in both P40 and P41
  • Ensuring that all ICC related closing tasks are completed timely and accurately and that adequate controls are in place to reduce potential reporting errors
  • Monitor the ICC robot(s) used to process ICC related tasks.
  • Develop and track budgets and costs related to the robots.
  • Identify potential programming changes to enhance robot processing
  • Coordinate with GBS to create proper handoff for robot related transactions
  • Review and approve all ICC account reconciliations
  • Coordinate with GBS relating to all ICC tasks they are performing
  • Explore ways to improve existing processes and initiate ideas for efficiency and expense reduction
  • Lead of all new companies converting to the ICC process from integration perspective including training through day 1 processing.
  • Effectively manage and execute special ad hoc assignments and projects
  • Ensure that all business know closing timelines and appropriate cutoff dates are met
  • Coordinate fixed asset transactions related to Intercompany transactions
  • Develop and maintain staff expertise in the various systems and processes utilized to perform the functions
  • Responsible for oversite of staff to ensure tasks are complete and on time.
  • Successfully define workflows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness
  • Observe highest standards of personal integrity and promote 'speak-up culture’ with staff
  • Foster internal and cross-functional/-business collaboration
  • Actively support Healthcare strategic targets, business principles and carve-out activities by pro-active engagement and fostering a culture of change
  • Coordinate all RIC control testing
  • Coordinate all external auditor reviews and testing
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and relevant Accounting standards

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of successful experience in Inter Company Clearing function and successful demonstration of Responsibilities and Knowledge/Skills as presented here

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proven leadership skills with successful personnel management or project management experience
  • Ability to provide leadership and structure in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent problem solving, diagnosis and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and define issues, evaluate alternatives and implement effective solutions
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with superior attention to detail
  • Strong Accounting background with ability to understand and navigate complex accounting topics
  • Ability to motivate and develop a professional staff while supporting organizational change
  • Excellent communication/collaboration skills, cultivating effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong internal control aptitude and business results orientation, achieving targeted results within prescribed timelines
  • Proactive/innovative process improvement change agent
  • Ability to effectively balance needs/wants of multiple stakeholders/customers
  • Strong Siemens Healthineers knowledge and effective networking;
  • Experience with SAP P41/P40, EZ AP, and SAP OneSRM systems; and solid understanding of Siemens Accounting practices/Financial Reporting Guidelines.
  • Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for area managed and basic knowledge of other areas in the company and how the value flows impact the upward and downs stream effects.
