Job Description
Eaton’s Corporate is currently seeking a Shared Service Accounting Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro Office. The Accounting Manager is responsible to lead and supervise the Accounting Processes for the GFSS, including management and coordination of supporting team. Conduction of the monthly closing process, review journal entries, Maintain SOX and Internal Audit compliance as well as Workiva system compliance as required. Perform monthly balance sheet reviews. Supervise the year-end Mexico compliance and financial reporting. Manage and champion ad hoc projects as needed. The position drives continuous improvement in accounting while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS). Some activities related with the position will be: Supervise the monthly closing process for Mexican Maquila ledgers Coordinate the Internal Control Audit and Statutory Audits with the external audit firms Treasury, Grid Note & ZBA. Ensure correct recording in Corporate ledgers. Financial Statements and Reporting. Preparation in Time and Form Electronic Accounting. Ensure submitting in time and form Develops the financial function and personnel into customer-oriented professionals with responsibility for developing and improving local and corporate policies, standards and agreements, technical accounting expertise, controls and business systems in conjunction with local requirements and WHQ guidelines. Identifies and spreads best practices across the GFSS. Drives standardization of processes as applicable and appropriate. Ensures that ethical standards are maintained in a manner that accrues maximum benefit to Eaton. Provides guidance on training and education of accounting professionals in the area. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent. Requires minimum of +7 year of experience.
