Our client, a reputable Japanese manufacturer, is seeking for a high-calibre Accounting professional to join their team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

• Handle & oversee financial month end closing
• Ensure monthly reports and quarterly reports are prepared accurately and submit to HQ in timely manner
• Prepare and propose annual budget
• Ensure proper systems of internal controls, guidelines and procedures are in place to safeguard company assets and minimize operational risk
• Intercommunicate and negotiate with different departments
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process with related parties
• Report to Senior Manager and Japan HQ

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or above
• 3- 5 years of related experience in managerial role, preferably in Japanese companies
• Sound knowledge of HKIFRS, IFRS and taxation laws
• Experience of implementing internal audit and internal control
• Hands on experience in cost accounting is advantageous
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.  Japanese is not a must but an advantage
• Good communication, negotiation and leadership skill
