Performs ordinary role, and special projects as assigned. Owns basic understanding and application of theoretical principles within field of specialization. While the work follows defined process and precedents have been set, incumbents are expected to plan and organize work in best sequence. Follows the relevant laws and regulations in the field of accounting (Accounting Law, US and Local GAAP), the local tax legislation (VAT Law, Corporate Income Tax Law, Law on tax procedure and tax administration) and the internal standards (Eaton FI Policies, Internal audit requirements) and procedures of the Company. Your main responsibilities: GL/AP/AR (for legal entities indicated by supervisor) supporting the timely and accurate calculation for IC recharges to benefiting legal entities within the range of responsibilities and timely submission of the relevant documents and their archiving supporting the timely and accurate month end closing activities as per US GAAP as well per Local GAAP keeping the relevant tax records supporting and following up the invoices for goods, services, freight and customs where relevant supporting external and internal tax audits tracking of changes in local tax regulations and in the accounting law, and implementation of the relevant changes to the accounting and tax procedures supporting the preparation of the tax information as required by local tax law GL (for legal entities indicated by supervisor) coding of invoices and vouchers with proper account distribution and other information keeping the statutory books in accordance with local accounting rules active participation in periodic inventory of assets and liabilities in accordance with local accounting rules Statutory reports and audits (for legal entities indicated by supervisor) supporting the preparation of the statutory accounts active participation in the statutory audits preparation of statistical reports as required by General Statistical Office / National Bank of Poland / and ad hoc/ and supporting external audits in the areas of responsibility Other functions proactive cooperation with site and GFSS active participation in lean projects and BPIs employee's travel expense reports settlement obeying and supporting the implementation of Eaton's financial policies initiating and implementing the improvements in the accounting process supporting the preparation of transfer pricing documentation in accordance with local tax law selected US GAAP GL accounts reconciliation in accordance with Eaton's procedures timely preparation of time sheets performing of the other commands of the supervisor not mentioned above which are necessary to the proper performance of the company or department assures compliance with applicable Eaton & Polish Law policies, EHS procedures, and other programs & procedures in achieving work results manages projects when needed and/or actively participates in project teams. participation in audits, statutory accounts audits, observation of behaviors. performs other commands of the supervisor not mentioned above which are necessary to the proper performance of the company or department Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: professional qualification/degree in accounting 2-3 years of relevant working experience good knowledge of SSC processes desirable SAP/other ERP experience desirable good Computer literate – Microsoft Office good communication skills, written and verbal good presentation skills highly developed Drive for results good Analytical and problem-solving skills good knowledge of local accounting and tax (both direct and indirect) rules basic knowledge of US GAAP rules team player fluency in Polish and good knowledge of English language As a member of our team, you can count on: Stable employment based on full-time employment contract.
