Accounting Zone Controller - South East Europe Various Eaton Locations Accounting Zone Controller will provide leadership of the Accounting function for all Electrical and Corporate ledgers (30 legal entities and 80 ledgers), external turnover of approx. $425m within zone, 6300 employees and a team size of 75 employees. Ensure accuracy of US GAAP and local GAAP numbers, and that all compliance requirements are met. This role will have a strong focus on the standardization and simplification of financial processes within the zone, rolling out strategic initiatives and working closely with GFSS to put in place the optimal structures to drive efficiencies. Your main responsibilities This role principally has complete day-to-day responsibility for all US GAAP Accounting processes and people within the Zone (AP, AR, FA, GL), as well as any Payroll and Statutory Accounting. Adherence to all US GAAP, SOX and local statutory/tax compliance requirements must be maintained. Support all strategic projects within the region such as tax, restructuring, M&A activities, payroll, system implementations and other ad-hoc projects. Drive standardization, simplification, and automation of financial processes within the zone, working closely with GFSS and the Electrical Operations to achieve the most efficient and effective structure.
