To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E We’re now looking for Accounting Zone Controller who will provide leadership of the Accounting function for all Electrical and Corporate ledgers (57 legal entities and 133 ledgers)approx. 3300 employees and a team size of 12 employees. As the Accounting Zone Controller you will ensure accuracy of US GAAP and local GAAP numbers, and that all compliance requirements are met. This role will have a strong focus on the standardization and simplification of financial processes within the zone, rolling out strategic initiatives and working closely with GFSS to put in place the optimal structures to drive efficiencies. This position can be based in either Dublin , Ireland or UK- Titchfield or Wimborne. This is a Hybrid position with 2-3 days in the office. Your main responsibilities: Day-to-day responsibility for all US GAAP Accounting processes and people within the Zone (AP, AR, FA, GL) Payroll and Statutory Accounting Adherence to all US GAAP, SOX and local statutory/tax compliance Support all strategic projects within the region such as tax, restructuring, M&A activities, payroll, system implementations and other ad-hoc projects Drive standardization, simplification and automation of financial processes within the zone, working closely with GFSS and the Electrical Operations to achieve the most efficient and effective structure Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Professional qualification/degree in accounting essential Extensive experience in a similar at a senior level Ability to operate and deliver independently Strong interpersonal and communication skills strong advocate of change Continuous Improvement mindset Technology savvy Excellent working knowledge of the English Desirable: Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley and US GAAP Another European language knowlegde What we offer to you: Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team Inclusion & Diversity - Openness to diversity widens our access to the best talent.
