Job Description
Job Responsibilities Maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. Conducts root cause analysis of accounts payable processing errors and suggests process improvements. Establish and monitor compliance with internal accounting controls deemed necessary to ensure integrity of financial transactions, reporting and activities. Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions Prepare monthly reconciliation for B/S accounts. Participates in and/or leads projects related to Accounts Payable improvement Support implementation of improvements to monthly closing procedures ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist and participate in internal / external audits as required. Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement to achieve departmental and plant goals. Support plant, functional or corporate initiatives Qualifications Qualifications Education level required Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, or related subjects Years and area of experience required 3 - 5 years prior AP processing experience Technical knowledge Proficient in MS office and accounting software Good communication in oral and written English. Good team player with a positive outlook, can work under pressure The ability to work independently with minimum supervision, a self-starter Plex/Oracle knowledge is a plus.
