Our location in Kansas City, MO currently has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to process vendor related invoices for the Workplace Solutions segment of our Toxicology business. In this dynamic role, you’ll communicate with stakeholders across the organization including approvers, managers and procurement teams, and you’ll be cross-trained to back up others where appropriate.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Process and manage all vendor related invoices for the company

• Upload invoices into invoice software (Perceptive Content – we’ll train) and enter all relevant information.

• Coordinate with departmental leaders to ensure proper authorization is obtained and relevant invoices are paid timely

• Responsible for three way match of invoice, PO and receiving support 

• Assist with special projects

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

• Microsoft Excel knowledge required

• Effective analytical and problem solving skills required

• The individual performing this job must be an analytical thinker, detail-oriented, organized and excellent at researching issues

Preferred

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or higher strongly preferred

• Previous Accounts Payable experience is a plus
