Position Summary

The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for the reporting and analysis of accounts receivable, collections and working capital. He/she would also be responsible for the oversight of full-cycle of Accounts Receivable including credit control and management, collection activities, weekly cashflow reporting, and driving working capital performance. This position requires accounts receivable and credit control and management experience, proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Principal Responsibilities

• Provide reporting & analysis to support

• SEATW Monthly and Quarterly Business Review (MBR) and (QBR), including preparation of performance dashboards and scorecards for Working Capital analysis
• Weekly Cashflow reporting
• Supports initiatives to drive Working Capital Performance
• AR and Collections Forecasts
• Monthly ageing reports and analysis

• Other AR accounting tasks include but are not limited to:

• preparing monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
• driving collections from customers
• preparing SAB104 for revenue recognition, and ensuring that transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with policies in the proper accounting periods
• credit management
• preparing balance sheet reconciliations
• sending Statement of Accounts to customers
• supporting various audits
• other ad-hoc duties as required and/or assigned

  Requirements

• Candidates should be preferably holding an Accounting qualification (Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting)
• General accounting knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel
• Meticulous, able to work independently, have good communication skills, be a good team player and most importantly willing to learn
